In a typical HCC photoshoot, the photographer is behind AND in front of the camera. They’re constantly multitasking, using a tripod, setting the camera timer, and entering the frame to pour a delicious herbal tea blend or apply botanical skin cream. And while our photographers are well-acquainted with this method and routinely use it to create stunning lifestyle photos, having a model on the scene opens up valuable time for creativity and the photo collection to flourish. The photographer can move around and shoot from various angles that may not have been available from the tripod. Imagine the possibilities!
Accessibility and Affordability
At HCC, we’re breaking down barriers. The rates for including one of our models in your photoshoot are as follows:
$250 for a half-day
$450 for a full day
These rates are ⅕th to ⅙th the price you would pay through a modeling agency.
We consider accessibility and affordability a priority. Diversity and inclusion in media campaigns are far too often overlooked, and models (specifically BIPOC models) are frequently underrepresented and underpaid. Modeling agencies regularly charge upwards of $1,200/day for a model shoot, but only a fraction of that goes to the models. That’s why we have meticulously designed this service with our models in mind, ensuring the entire compensation package goes directly into the model's pocket, recognizing and valuing their contribution to the industry.
